I have always been one of those people that pray about EVERYTHING! Ok, maybe not what shoes match the best with my shirt, but everything else. If there's one thing I have learned over my long and mature 27 years it's that God cares about those things we care about.
My latest story began a few weeks ago. I recently got a new job as a fragrance vendor in a department store where my sales are everything. They make or break not only how much my boss likes me, but also how many hours I will have the following week/month. Being that my little family could use a few extra dollars a month, it has been an extremely big blessing to have these hours.
Each week I have set myself a goal of the total number of fragrance sells I would like to have. These goals are rather high considering how slow this department store is, but I know that happy boss means more hours! Well three weeks in a row I have told my Heavenly Father exactly what I wanted to sell that week. I always pray that those people who can afford fragrance and would be interested in the line I carry would feel a need to come to the store. I can honestly say that I have exceeded my goal every week! If my family didn't need the money or I was going to have the hours regardless, I'm not sure these miracles would happen weekly, but nonetheless they have happened and I know it's because He cares!
